We had a great hotel director, by the name of Joni Gevriye, on the Brilliance, back in October of 2014. Does anyone know if he still works for Royal Caribbean?

Dean Bailey is now on Anthem. It will be his ship. We are delighted. Ron Ness has moved to Mariner, as of August when we saw him on AN. He will be missed. Rumor has it that Sanjay Kumar will relieve Dean sometime within the next year when Dean goes on vacation. We will be glad to see Sanjay again because he is a kind and considerate HD.

Irfan Hurriyetoglu returned as Hotel Director on Majesty June 11, 2018. A really great HD!!!

 

I could not agree more about Irfan! I thought he was the greatest HD I have ever seen! He made my cruise on Majesty!

Currently on Explorer, where the HD is Michael Landry. He will be with the ship on the Transpacific to Australia, and then for a couple of cruises after, before going on vacation.

Because of MSC's expansion I heard that they were targeting RCI employees. I wouldn't be surprised if some HDs have jumped ship.

Just off Empress (Nov 4). John Denton told me leaves Empress and goes to Grandeur November 15. No break. He's relieving Adrianna but I didn't ask who was coming to Empress. He also confirmed for me that several HD's had jumped to MSC but didn't give me names.

Agree.  Alastair Crawford is an outstandinf HD.  We will be on the Freedom for three weeks in January.  Does anyone know when Alastair Crawford departs the Freedom for vacation?

Adriana on grandeur goes on vacation November 16.  She'll be coming back to Liberty not Grandeur.
