Oprah as the Godmother of the Nieuw Statendam

So, I guess the Holland America Facebook page is “blowing up” with negative comments about this latest announcement making Oprah the “Godmother” of the Nieuw Statendam. What is Holland America trying to accomplish with these types of labels? I have nothing against Oprah, but is it really necessary to name a “godmother” of a new ship? Who is HAL trying to appeal to anymore?

I get it..she's divisive..but apparently some people on the Facebook page are showing what they're really like..and HAL is within their right to censor people if their posts are obnoxious enough.
