Royal Caribbean Website Pain

My Cruise Planner says there's still 39 days to go before my cruise on the Adventure of the Seas. Can I do my online check-in now or should I wait? Is there any reason why it would be better to wait?

You can check in anytime. There is no reason to wait. You won’t get your cruise documents and luggage tags until checked in.

I'd do it immediately.  That way, in case something does not work on Royal's website (a rare occurence:classic_wink:), you've got some time to get it fixed.

LOL I now get what you meant... When I click on "check-in", I get this message 

 

Check-in paused

Access to reservation ******** is temporarily unavailable, so check in other guests or try again later.

Same here.  I checked in and printed my setsail passes a while ago.  For the past week I have not been able to view them and all I get is the above message.

Also, I went to the site to make a final payment on a different booking and it says that is out of order too.  I hate to have to call them...

Bottom line,  do what you can do when the site is available, don't wait.

I keep getting this message as well.  I needed to log in to update the passport information on my girlfriend because she just got her renewal delivered.  Is this a usual message, or should I be freaking out?  We're on March 2nd Rhapsody.

I'm experiencing same problem.  "Check-in Paused".    

 

I'm also unable to get to the cruise planner today - either through my account, or through the "already Booked" method.

I tried different ways to get to the cruise planner too and it didn't work, I'm just thankful I finished booking all the excursions and things last week.

You will get message's like this one if you access your CP , exit and try to get right back in. The system times you out. Wait approximately 30 minutes and try it again.

Thanks! I was able to access our March cruise after you let us know.  Looks like they were modifying prices in the planner for our cruise

 

Still can't update info in Online Check-in.

Also you will get this message if you have anything in your cart - for example you added an excursion or drinks package and have not completed payment. Remove the item, do the check in and then you can add the item back if you want/need to.

I didn't have any trouble at all getting into my cruise planner for next week EN cruise.  Booked Chops this morning with no issues.  

 

Not sure why some are having problems, but others not.  Different browsers, need to delete cookies?

I've been seeing this since Sunday.  I finally decided to call (foolish, I know) and first the guy said, try it in Chrome.  Nope, same thing.  Try it in Internet Explorer.  Nope, same thing.  I gave up.  I'll try again later.

I was able to finish online check-in this afternoon for our March cruise.     Glad  it was just a short pause.   

 

Wonder who in Royal’s IT came up with that particular error Message:  “Check-in paused”  ?

Is anyone else having trouble getting available cruises to populate on RCCI's webpage? I wanted to compare some this am and it will not load any for me. I know there IT department is lackluster but wow if no one is able to load cruises that could cost bunches of money. All of the rest of the pages load but I can't get any cruises to populate.

Try the usual: clear cookies, clear cache, private browsing mode, different browser.
