Royal Caribbean Fights Back!

Recommended Posts

I saw the story on CNN. Very well done. Gave the facts not sensationalism. The family is talking about all this blood in the room. If there was as much blood as they say, one the security people who brought Jennifer back would have see it. 2 Jennifer when she got up in the morning would have seen(unless she is hiding something). Three when the Captain went in on July 5th he would have seen it.

If the cruiseline is covering up something, why let Dr Lee onboard and Greta do some of her show onboard.

The lawyer for Jennifer Smith said they should have gone in the room. If Securcity came busting into my room when there was no noise coming from it I would be mad. He also said that that is what the passengers wanted them to do. Really would they like it if security came busting into there room. NO.

I agree about busting in, however, as many who have stayed in a hotel, would they should have got a call, aswell. They never said if that was done or not, if there was no answer, should they have entered based on the person next door, I'm not sure.

We made a noise complaint at Hotel Galvez last November precruise. Major partying next door and hey - we were cruising the next morning!! By the time security got there they had left the room. Security came and knocked on our door instead (oops) They did NOT enter the room next door.

I was told he was the BJ manager & that she was very excited around him. So they went to the disco together. At the disco George calls her a HUSSY & she drops kicks him in the balls that he fell to the floor in pain. Then the NYC kids pull out the absinthe to cure him as they leave.

Now also this other honeymooning couple that they were such good friends with, where are they on these shows??? Was this a swinger's cruise??? Was that where George has been???

Today & in the past I've hear that 3 missing people were being looked for when they entered Smith's stateroom, saw the blood on the canopy & phoned Security who then notified all the proper contacts to get an investigation started. So who were the other 2?

This is the same casino manager that was groping her in the elevator in front of her husband, according to Josh the kid who was hanging around with them during the cruise.

I was told he was the BJ manager & that she was very excited around him. Good grief! They have managers for BJs??? So they went to the disco together. At the disco George calls her a HUSSY & she drops kicks him in the balls that he fell to the floor in pain. Then the NYC kids pull out the absinthe to cure him as they leave.............................]

I have not seen such a detailed timeline to understand how you can say that the absinthe only came out as a "curative" for a kick in the groin. Way more detail than I've seen and I've been fascinated by this train wreck.

Don't make reference to anything disappearing

Bob - ROTFLMAO - you are a bad bad boy

The alleged manager's alleged name is Lloyd (according to Josh the alleged teen)

I'll ask this again, and hope the thread doesn't get whacked before a reply seeps through.

According to the cop last eveing (who was next door and was the one who called in to report the noise) on Gretta, he saw three men walking away from the Smith's cabin...when the party ended (yep he opened the door and looked). He then heard one voice in the cabin and banging around, then a chair being moved on the balcony and then a thud. No female voice at all.

How many guests did DH have drinking with him in his room? Was it three or four? If three then they all left before he fell. If four, then there is one unaccounted for.

The cop said he thought George was alone, and the chair being moved sounded like someone was moving it to use it as a step in order to sit or stand on the railing.

Well, it has been previously reported that there was a female voice in the cabin. Not sure it was by him, but it was reported.

How could he tell that that it "sounded like someone was moving a chair to use as a step". You can hear someone move a chair, but I doubt you can hear them step on it.... yes, I know he's a cop, but still.......

Corona, probably becaue he thought DH was alone in the room, and the only purpose for moving he could think of was to sit on the rail.

Got me. Gretta asked specfically about a womans voice...he said he did not hear a womans voice in the room...possibly in the hall, but not the room. The hall comment he seemed to say that it was more of a girlish tone and not a woman's voice...he seemed to dismiss it.

Any idea on the head count drinking in the room?

...any chance we can get to my thoughts on the blood pattern. I wrote last night and today...all gone. Anyone have any thoughts?

I saw it, and to some degree, I disagree. The trail does go over the side. It looks like the wound area was still bleeding as it goes over to the side.... I think it was his head that hit first. Think about it. If you fell backwards, the first thing to hit, traveling some 22 ft. would probably be the head. Or the back maybe. I can't remember what you said in total, but maybe you can refresh my memory.:)

You have to also think about the amount of moisture that would have been on the canopy from the sea spray, and how that would make the blood smear too, provided someone was laying in it. It would have also been slippery.

I have said that I thought he was alive when he hit, which would explain the small pooled area of blood. I think he passed out after he hit, then woke up, stood up, sat up, or rolled over, and fell off the ship, in his confused state.

Jeez, I have to refresh my own memory first...

Thanks for for thoughts. That what I was wondering too, how smear or no smear, slide or no slide, how he could have gotten off the canopy, and I do agree that he would have had to come too. I think he was on the canopy for a bit of time, enought to leave that amount of blood, and in the absense of anyone seeing others on the canopy fixing their mistake, right now I am leaning toward accident, not murder.

Finely, that's what the man said...

Sometimes the simple answer is the the answer.

I wish the lawyers and news would stop attacking RCCL and it's employees. Gotta admit, I feel like they are attacking a friend.

Ditto. Me too. I know people don't like to hear that, but I think it's right. I have spent years watching Court TV, and all of the forensic shows

obsessively, and if you think about the things they focus on, this seems like an accident, if you use the same criteria they do. Not saying I am right, but I'd be willing to bet you and I are close on what the the blood evidence shows.

Not definitively. I think it was 3. Let me see if I can find out anything about it.......

Don't know about these folks but I move my chairs for a bunch of reasons.

Exactly.. He could have been moving it to put his feet up on it.

If in time we find blood in the cabin or on the balcony, I may have to re-assess.

Guys, I have this show on the DVR (I know, I am hooked on following this case) and the cop did say he heard no female voices inside the cabin, maybe in the hall.

As for the chair, he described hearing it move and knew it was balcony furniture by the scraping sound. The next morning when he went outside he looked over at the Smith's balcony and saw the chair pushed up against the rail backwards "as if it was to be used as a steeping stool". So he made this observation based on what he saw the next morning, not by the sound.

Also, he said the door was open and he could see the bed and it had been slept in. No mention of an occupant in the bed. His estimation of the time was around 7:00AM. JHS got to the spa at 8:30 and said she got up, slipped on her sandals and left the room. Maybe she walks real slow.
