Hello Lady,

"convenience" fee it is around $36pp.

Check out Birdtravels post for every thing about the Bliss about show times, food pics etc.

Yup. The $36 is with all the fees added...

Looks like I slacked off a bit on my vacation and didn’t keep up we’ll those last couple of days...

We actually just spent time exploring and walking around a bit. My wife spent a good amount of time at the thermal spa. The day at sea was going to be our Cagney’s dinner so we tried to scale back on the afternoon dining/snacking. In all honesty, what I did in the day at sea and the Victoria Day all blur together.

So.. I’ll jump to dinner. Cagney’s was as good as we expected. The food and service topped off a great week of specialty dining. Again, the appetite overcame the need to take photos.

I’m sure you’ve all read about it but remember the stores all close early ok Friday along with the casino (11 AM). They do, however, go overboard with dozens of activities on that last day to keep you all busy - bingo, art auctions, game shows, etc.

While my wife and daughter visited the gardens that night, my son and I jumped on the buses lined up to take us in to town ($13 per person RT). We explored Victoria a bit and then headed back to the ship to grab dinner at the Local and take in the second half of Guardians of the Galaxy playing in the atrium. Unfortunately the bus broke down on the rest of our family and they barely made it back to the ship on time after the gardens.

Overall blissful thoughts...

The app was a disappointment. I like to rely on the schedule piece of the app but half of my restaurant reservations didn’t show up and we missed our laser tags appointment due to an accidental overbooking. We also all had the messaging plan which didn’t always work either. The convenience was nice when it did work - but then you rely on it and get a bit frustrated when the intended receiver does not get a message or a notification that a message was sent. The “What’s Going On” piece, on the other hand, has really minimized my review of the printed dailies...

Lots of events and shows in the atrium. 95% of the time there is not enough seating so wear some comfortable shoes or get luck and grab a seat at the bar - which might make some of the shows a bit more enjoyable.

The ship is beautiful and I think laid out very well. I didn’t know if I’d like the casino so front and center but it was a nice change. To answer the frequent question - really only smelled smoke when we walked by the enclosed smoking area (just due to doors opening/closing).

Coco’s was a hit. I think an $8 sundae is much better value than a $16 shake but definitely worth the splurge. In fact, one night we were a bit too lazy to run upstairs for a snack and a scoop of gelato was incredibly decadent.

As I mentioned before, I’d definitely like to try the ship on a warmer itinerary to existence some areas that just didn’t seem as appealing on this voyage. And, while I didn’t mention it enough, we really took advantage of the Observation Lounge multiple evenings as well. I also think we’ll do the main dining a little more next time and perhaps cap out at three specialty restaurants...

As for my son, he didn’t spend much time in the teen lounge. Not too many kids there but he did play some air hockey and Mario Kart at times. We also taught him Texas Hold ‘Em in the Observation Lounge... so that was good.

Until the next one...

I still want to know if the wait for the $99 line was ridiculous or reasonable.

Sorry, I realize this post was phrased rather rudely. THANK YOU OP for all the time you are putting in to your review and all the answered questions!
