No fridge?

So I was just reading a Fascination review and I was a little shocked to read that she does not have a fridge in each room. So I ask my fellow cruisers what do you do to keep some cold dinks in your room besides the tiny ice bucket?

Those ships were built before fridges were standard cabin equipment. carnival allows us to bring a 12x12x12 soft side cooler and your cabin steward with bring you ice and keep it refreshed. A tip for this added service is always appreciated.

Get a bucket of ice from room service.

Pack a small fold up cooler in your luggage and take it up to the Lido deck and fill it . I do it early or late when there is not a lot of activity so I wont be in the way.

Ask room steward to keep the cooler filled with ice. I always take mine.

Surprised they were not added during one of the drydocks. Have gotten used to having them to cool wine, fruit or whatever we want to keep cold
