Miami airport hotels

Nothing near the La Quinta East except for the Embassy Suites - dinner there will cost about the same as your LQ room rate.

Blue Lagoon hotels (Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites) near MIA have a strip mall nearby with several dining and fast food options.

Marriott Complex ( Marriott, Courtyard, Residence Inn, and the new one (Homewood?????) Was just starting in 2016 when we were there last.

2 Restaurants within the Complex ( Marriott and Courtyard).

Residence Inn has a nice breakfast buffet that's included.

You should also consider Uber Eats and Postmates. You can just eat in your hotel room for a $5 delivery charge. Loads of restaurants down here use Uber and Postmates so you most likely will have a lot of options.

Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon is across the street from a Publix market, Cuban restaurant and Burger King. They also have a nice breakfast in the morning. We have gotten great made to order deli sandwiches & soup at Publix.

Free shuttle from the airport. Have stayed at this one 4 or 5 times pre-cruise.

This is a nice location, we were at the Crowne Plaza nearby last winter. Plenty of local restaurants in the area (Latin Café was great), gas stations to buy soda, beer etc. Very safe and walkable area. We didn't go, but there was even a movie theater close by. If we need to stay near MIA in the future this is the area we'll return to.

Thank you for posting your review. We are staying there for our February cruise on Bliss.
