Taxis at San Pedro on disembarkation

Recommended Posts

We'll be ending our Princess cruise at San Pedro and then visiting friends in Long Beach. I don't want to put them through traffic to come and meet us at the cruise terminal, so would rather take a taxi.

Question - are there lots of taxis ready for disembarking passengers or should we book one in advance? If booking, any recommendations of taxi firms?

No one needs to even book taxis in advance at any port or airport in the USA.

They are always available. These days lots of folks use an app on their phone to call an uber or lyft car which is often a bit less expensive than a taxi.
