Are we allowed to bring a case of pop onboard during a port of call?

Recommended Posts

hi there. Doing a 14 day Journey cruise soon. I know we are allowed a case of 12 can pop per person on embarkation day. During the cruise, preferably at the halfway point, can we bring another 12 pack of can pop onto ship? Thanks.

I call it pop here in Iowa. When people correct me and say its soda, I just remind them that it is correct to say Hello, not Hi y'all.

In Louisiana I've heard Coke and cold drink. Cold drink bugs me more. It is way too vague.

My dad was from Louisiana, and my mom is from Iowa. I don't remember my family ever saying anything other than pop.

And here in Canada we go to the washroom as opposed to the restroom. Who goes there to rest?

In the UK it's pop, or fizzy drink. Ask for a soda and you get a glass of soda water 🤢🤢🤢 after spending 2 months in the USA earlier this year came home and ordered a soda and got a nasty surprise 🤣🤣

Soda is that white stuff you bake with. It's pop in Michigan too.

That's baking soda. Pop is something that popcorn does in the microwave. :')

Soda here!

If you're grilling a hamburger, you still call it BBQ? Even though a hamburger doesn't have BBQ? What about a Zagnut bar, do you still call it a chocolate bar even though it has no chocolate? Curious...

Fun thread

Pop... and dinner is the noon meal as opposed to supper which you eat in the evening. You have lunch between breakfast and dinner and also between dinner and supper.

I say eee-ther not eye-ther.

Bathroom

I feel better now :):):)
