Time rooms are available

Recommended Posts

If you want to be able to go straight to your cabin, pick 1:30 as your boarding time. Even 1:00 could work by the time you go through the line and actually make it back to your cabin.

Keep in mind that you do not select your boarding time. You do however, select your check-in time for the terminal.

i want to select a boarding time to minimize the wait for the access to our cabin. What time do you think the cabins will be ready?

1 30.

Even if you select an earlier check in time, you can always arrive at the port at a later time that’s more suitable to your needs.

As others have mentioned, 1:00-1:30pm will almost guarantee that your cabin will be ready upon boarding. That’s usually the time we check in because of the same reason as you. In addition to the cabins being ready, the lines at check in are usually pretty light.

Sometimes we’ve been the only ones checking in!

Are the rooms at 1:30 even when the departure time is later? We have a March Cruise where the departure time from Long Beach is 6:30.

How do we go about selecting our check-in time?

On the Carnival site, go to Manage on the drop down menu. Then hit My Booking. On the left in the blue box where it says On Line Check In, it will have a date of when you are able to check in. (90 days prior to your cruise date.) After that date, you can go in, fill in all of your information and choose a check in time.

Unless you have prepurchased Faster to the Fun, your cabin will not be ready or accessible until 1:30pm. No exceptions.

Except if you are Platinum or Diamond.

It will be available to choose in your online check in, in your account. That usually opens up around 90 days prior to cruise.

The OP is obviously NOT Diamond or Platinum...so your comment really doesn't apply in his situation.

In this situation, no but they were just correcting the statement that if was only FTTF that was allowed to go to their cabins before 1:30. Just about the time you don't give out correct information, you create a mess.
