Pre-book Seats Dreamliner

Recommended Posts

I know that if you pre-book seats you can choose them 90 days before you return but has anyone any experience of when this opens ???

Is it at midnight or when the plane would land in England or depart from the destination?

Its from the return date on the booking, just a suggestion and don't tell anyone try phoning TUI airways 7 days earlier as that's when the flight opens for the 7 day holidays you may only be able to book outbound flight but you will have a better choice.

We booked our holiday on 25 June for 27 October holiday and the booking for the holiday was done online. On the same day telephoned tui and picked our seats for the outbound flight to Palma and also for the inbound flight on Dreamliner from Barbados.

Phone them and they should let you do it over the phone.

Hi Pensioncruiser

Hope you had a good holiday.

When we booked the Palma seats (which are standard aisle seats )were booked at the same time as the extra extra legroom seats for the return leg from Barbados.:)

Keep well.

If booking online you have a page in 'manage my booking' showing when you are able to book seats to the hour and to check in online. Sure enough 4 pm on our day seat selection opened and there was plenty of choice for outbound and return. Check internet for tips on the best and worst seats.

Thanks - good to have some tips. our date to choose is the 16th October. Will that mean at the strike of midnight or at the time the plane would be due to land 90 days later ??

WE chose our extra leg room seats way back in march when we booked the cruise for Caribbean Feb 19.

We booked our cruise so early cos we wanted Newcastle flights which are like hens teeth and we presumed would fill up quick. Checked on cruise personaliser a few weeks later and it looked like all seats were taken. Could it be that they were just not available yet? and from that could we have hung on for a better price?

Reservations for 'ordinary' seats starts 90 days from the return flight date. I guess extra leg room seats are not 'ordinary'?
