Free meal for 2

If we have the free travel agency meal for 2 and we decide to use it at Chops, do we get the same menu as other guests, someone told me it is a reduced choice. The value of the meal is up to $100.

Same menu but do read the fine print. You must wait until you board to make reservations and it may be good for port days only.

We've had that type certificate on our last 2 cruises. When we got onboard we made our reservations and had the same menu as everyone else.

There is a restriction as to what day it can be used, but I can't remember if it is could be used only on port or sea days. It didn't matter to us as we had a 5 night dining package and when we made reservations for our dinners, we told them that we had the free dinner.

It is exactly the same. I've taken advantage of similar comp from my TA and as soon as I board, I go to the Chops, Giovanni's, etc. and make my reservations. The only difference is the luncheon menu which is limited as compared to the dinner menu. You can order multiple appetizers and desserts, but only 1 entrée.

We have a similalr perk from our TA. How do they know that we qualify for a free meal?

Thanks.

Whoever told you that has no idea what they're talking about.

Thank you all for the replies . yes we have been told port days only, but no problem. Will go and sort out as soon as we board.

I've never had a problem using the comp on sea days. One time I had GS print the coupon and no restrictions indicated. If you want to use it on sea days, just feign ignorance when you go to make reserves a the specific SR,
