Balcony seating on Jade?

I'll be on the Jade (solo) in January and have a mid-ships balcony. The pictures of the chairs that I have seen have me a bit worried. I am a larger stature person and the thought of trying to squeeze myself in one of those is not appealing. Does anyone know what the seat width is for those chairs? Is there an option for something wider? Is it possible to have them (and the "table") removed and replaced with a lounger?

and before someone suggests reducing my stature to fit what is supplied... That is a work in progress.

Replacing them with a lounger will probably  not have any impact on being able to fit into the seat. You can always ask your steward to remove the chairs and table and replace them with a lounger, but they are often unable to accommodate those requests.

I was in a balcony room on the Jade in January. I am also a larger person who is working to shrink. I could not sit comfortably in the chairs on the balcony, so I dragged the desk chair out when I wanted to sit outside (it had no arms). I then would use one of the regular chairs as a foot rest. It's not likely that you'll be able to get a lounger on a regular balcony with the existing chairs and table. I was surprised how small it was, even though I had read it here many times.

Thanks for the tip about the desk chair.  I'll have to give that a try.
