Changing ONLY the size of text on web pages.

Most people know about the Ctrl+ / Command+, Ctrl-, Command- and Ctrl+0/Command+0 for zooming the entire screen. However, it's usually the text that gives people problems, especially here with the brand new "2018 Eyestrain+ Edition" of the site.  You may want to simply change the size of the text on the page without zooming on everything. Here's how to do it.  You don't need to install any browser add-ons or other software. However, please be aware that you'll be changing the text size for all the pages you visit. If you need to change the text size back, you follow the same instructions, selecting a smaller size.

This set of instructions is for the Google Chrome Browser. I chose it because it runs on most platforms and most people probably have it in one form or another. If you run something different like FireFox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Edge, there are plenty of tutorials on the web.

I'll provide the instructions for both Desktop Chrome and Mobile Chrome. I'm using an Android phone for the mobile instructions, but they're very, very similar for other versions in case you have an iPhone, iPad or other tablet - including the Kindle Fire.

Note: If your screen is tall enough, you may see Settings without the need to scroll.

The only thing that got larger was the CC material -- not what I am typing.

It's only going to make the viewed text bigger. That's about the best I can do unless you want to try the CSS plugin I mentioned the other day. If you want, I'll try to write some rules to make your posting text appear bigger.
