Did Chops Grille & Giovannis Table Prices Go Up?

Did the prices for Chops Grille and Giovannis Table go up? For my January 2019 sailing on the Jewel the prices online had been listed as $35 for Chops and $30 for Giovannis. Now they are listed at $39.99 & $32.99. I saw people say online that the bigger ships had the higher prices. I wonder if all the fleet has the higher pricing now?

Chops was 35 on most of my cruises it’s 45 on oasis next month

Royal employs dynamic pricing.  Prices can very ship to ship and even cruise to cruise on the same ship.

They went up for the Mariner next year. I keep waiting for a sale but it's only gone up. Last year at Thanksgiving they had a great sale so I would check then

Well, if you say that they had been listed at $35 and $30, and now they are $39.99 and $32.99, I would say that they have gone up.

Chops on Rhapsody last week was $35 plus tax slow service no atmosphere not worth the money anymore.

Mine has gone up since I booked this cruise on the Serenade. Was $35, now 39.99.

On Anthem the prices for Chops, Wonderland & Jamie's increased to:

 

 

Chops was $42, with a sale price of $33.60 and now $49.99

 

 

 

Jamie's was $35

 

 

 

Wonderland was $49

We're paying 20.00 each/pp on Freedom this December (60.00 3 dinner package).  I would NEVER pay 49.00 for Chops.  Probably not even 30.00.  But at 20 we'll enjoy :)

You can always order a Chop's filet in the MDR. I've done this several times. Price was $16.95 and the filet has always been delicious - medium with fresh horseradish.

We have two cruises booked for next year, and noticed similar price increases for Chops, Giovanni’s and Wonderland. The price for the 3 and 4 night dining packages hasn’t changed. This might just be a marketing poke to make the dining package look more attractive.
