beach recommendation for Nassau

Hi there. There's about 12 of us going to Nassau on the NCL Getaway. We're looking for a good cheap beach recommendation. We need calm water (which I understand is harder to find) and a clean beach. We're going with young children. We do not need packages that include unlimited drinks but don't mind paying for chairs and food.

thanks in advance.

Blue Lagoon by a mile.  You don't want to deal with transportation in Nassau with 12 people.  Just book Blue Lagoon Beach Day through your excursion desk.  It'll include lunch plus they have a couple bars on site if you want to buy drinks.

Since it's a lagoon, the water will be flat, calm and there isn't a more perfect beach for young children that you'll find anywhere.  White sand, crystal clear water, not deep (but a couple of deep holes if you want to plunge), lunch and chairs is included.

You'll simply ride the ferry over all together from the cruise port.

Either that or just hit up Junkanoo beach next to the cruise port if you want to save more money.  Tiki Bikini Hut will set you up with chairs and what not.
