We're planning to book an A1 Concierge Veranda Stateroom on Nautica. Most are on Deck 7 but there are two midship on Deck 8. Are there any pros or cons regarding the Deck 8 staterooms?

Is there something about your question or your needs that is "over age 55 specific"?

If not, then you'll get a lot more informed eyes looking at your question if you post this on the Oceania cruise line sub-forum.

You also might want to phrase it to include the other "R" class ships of Oceania (all of those other than Riviera and Marina), as they have almost identical deck and cabin plans.

the  deck 8 cabins are under the pool area  so you may hear noises of the chairs being moved

they are also connecting cabins  so you may hear the neighbours

be sure to check if the cabin size will suit you  as they are 165 sq ft  & the bathrooms are small, showers are small & bother some people

you can find some photos of them in the review section of CC

A B & C  cabins are all the same size

I agree come over to the O forum  for more info
