Elephants, a frogman and a dachshund...inquiring minds want to know

Are there similar oddities on Encore and Ovation at deck 5?

Dachshund?  Has someone brought one on a cruise?  I love looking at old vintage photos and have seen some of dachshunds on ocean liners.  (We do have a dachshund--they are great dogs!)

I do believe our clever friend Isklaar is referring to the scupltures (ie. Diver, dachshund and elephant) that grace the hallways of the O class ships and wondering if there is something comparable on the big ships.

Yes, there is certainl a lot of that. I was hoping that a real dachshund had smuggled his way on the ship!  LOL

The elephants on Odyssey are my least favourite.  I have been known to pose with the other two on at least one occasion each cruise 🙂

I thought it was on the Sojourn.

It is on Sojourn - it's the frogman on Quest.

1. But where is Artie?  (I can guess... getting to know the expedition crew for the upcoming season) and yes I know not the same as the brass sculptures.  I always wondered which of the crew had to walk the dog on Sojourn...

Last I heard, Artie had made his way onto one of the other O class ships. I just can't recall which one. I don't know if he returned to Quest at some point for the Antarctica season.  (I have a photo of Artie on my work computer - can't believe I've admitted that!)

On Ovation, no central display art.  There is a very large brightly colored “ginger jar” style vase on the wall in the same general vicinity.  I’ll snap a photo the next time I am near the Club or Casino with my camera in hand.
