Vista Suite on Niew Statendam

Recommended Posts

This has to be incorrect information.   I was checking price on my upcoming NS cruise Vista Suite.  The description here says whirlpool and shower.  I know the vista suite on the Koninsdam has a standard bathroom.   This is a typo(?)

I think you are right that this is a typo.  Both times on the K'dam that we had a Vista Suite, it was the same bathroom configuration as a Verandah stateroom, with the awesome large, glass shower, single sink vanity and side saddle commode.

Having said that, leave it to HAL to change things up and make me a liar.  Maybe someone who has actually been on a pre-delivery tour could chime in.  Otherwise, I guess we'll wait until the inaugural TA and someone can check it out.

I think what the write up is saying is that the tub has whirlpool jets and a shower head.

But on the K there is no tub at all.  That is what is so confusing.  It is complete flip of the bathroom.

Indeed on Koningsdam our vista suite had no bath, just the walkin shower.

The deck plans for both the Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam indicate a shower only in the Vista suites.

We had 7193 on the K and only had a shower.

When are you sailing?  I am on the premier voyage of the NS (Dec.5) and we're having a cabin crawl.  I think there will be a vista suite on it.  I will ask if I can take pictures.

What are the perks that come with a Vista Suite (B) on the Niew Statendam?
