Looking for a new or remodeled hotel in Ft Lauderdale

Hi,

We are looking of a new hotel or remodeled hotel to stay after our cruise. (in Ft. Lauderdale)  I had found a list on line before but now I can't find anything when I search. Any information would be appreciated.

The Fairfield by Marriott is brand new on Federal Highway and one and a half blocks to Las Olas Boulevard.  It's about three miles to port.

TRYP - hotel information - area is a bit isolated. One restaurant nearby

Fairfield Inn Las Olas - hotel information - major construction next door (on two sides of the hotel) at this time

Wyndham Garden - hotel information - old Dania area with few restaurants and good antique shopping

Comfort Suites - hotel information - old Dania area with one restaurant across the street

One of my Front Desk Agents and his wife just came back from a vacation at the Conrad.  They loved it.  They are in their early 30s.  Now, if you are a CCer who likes "cheap, but it's clean" types of motels, this is not for you.  But, if you want a really nice place and are willing to pay, it's good.   PLUS, if you go to their website, they do have a day rate if you want to just hang out at the pool before you head to the airport or to the cruise.  Again, not cheap, but at least you are doing the right thing and not trying to poach something for free 😉

FYI - The new Wyndham Garden in Dania has a Black Friday Sale going on right now with 30% off. Very good deal! I just booked for March and will cancel my reservation I had with TRYP.
