Jewel - No Landing Cards

We are completing a 12 day transatlantic crossing coming into San Juan. The itinerary had to be changed due to storms, New ports, supplies, entertainers, etc, all had to be rearranged to meet the cruise. They did a very good job on that. What did they NOT arrange - the blue and white US Custom Forms for the some 2,000 passengers. The ship's explanation is that it will go very quickly for everyone to get the forms in the terminal and fill them out, it will not add any time to the disembarkation. I stand there incredulous.  2,000 people looking for forms, filling them out without pen or tables, writing on people's back, and they say it does not take any extra time or bother? That is because they are not going through it.

They could plan for a whole new itinerary but not to have some pieces of paper shipped to the ship.

It proves that once you step off their ships RCCL does not care what happens. They will blame it on the US Customs agents. It is RCCL's fault.

They aren’t when doing a closed loop cruise from the US.  This was a TA that they were on and were obviously used if they had to fill them out.

IIRC we didn't use them on our Brilliance TA last Nov Barcelona to Tampa.

We did not receive nor complete customs forms at any point during the recent SY TA.  My underestanding is that you must request to complete only IF you have something to declare.

We didn't use the forms on the Symphony TA in Port Canaveral.  Just walked up to the agent and handed them my passport.

EDIT - we were beside you on Serenade yesterday in St. Maarten.  Looked like we traded some fresh fruit from Serenade in exchange for some boxes of something from Jewel.  Hope you enjoyed getting some fresh stuff after so many sea days.

Sounds like you're very angry for no reason, as no slips will be needed. Hopefully you weren't this rude to the GS staff on board. If so, please find them and apologize.
