tap water or Bottled water on board

Hello I will be a first time cruiser this Christmas 2018 on the HAL 'Noordam'   

I have learnt so much so far what to bring and what not to bring on board. 

I like to drink alcohol but drink lots more of water. 

Is the water safe to drink all over the ship and in cabin?   

Just to save a little cost..... can I also bring bottled water on board, and is there a limit of water, such as there is for one bottle of wine per passenger.
