UBP and Corking Fees

Hello does anyone know if corking fees still apply if you’ve purchased the ultimate beverage package?

Seems Like the cruise line would be ok bringing a special bottle of champagne on board if you have also bought the beverage package and are a haven guest?

The fee still applies and is collected before you board the ship.

As the booze package does not include bottled wine, why would they not charge corkage? If you wanted a bottle of wine/bubbly on the ship you would have to pay for it, so NCL are losing a sale when you bring a bottle on board - hence the corkage.

This ^^ should make it obvious.

Why would OP think that the NCL wouldn't hope that in addition to the beverage "package" (which is individual drinks), some passengers might also prefer some nicer bottled wines/bubbly, things that aren't available "by the glass"?

How to you get the bottles of wine that you’ve checked once onboard?

What do you mean "checked once onboard"?

If you've left a partially open bottle at a restaurant, then just ask at the next restaurant for your stored bottle.

Or take the open bottle with you, to drink in your cabin/suite.

If they are bottles that you've needed to check at ports, so you don't get charged the corkage fee, then I think you'll get those back the last night.

Or.... what is it you are asking?

The wine you are allowed to bring on board that you must check and pay the corkage fee on as you embark. How do you get them once onboard.

Where do you see that you must check them?

I thought they charge you at check-in (or security?), and put a little sticker on each bottle, and you just carry on (pun intended).

You stop and pay corkage as you go through security. You have to carry the bottles with you, there is no place to "check" bottles.

You have to bring all wine via handcarry. If you leave them in your checked luggage, your bags will be confiscated and sent to the "naughty room" and you will spend [a long] time on embarkation night with all of the other people with contraband, trying to get your bags out of security.
