Not if you already have a coffee card or a drinks package that already includes coffee

A cousin has come to stay for a night. She lives in Encinitas. We've been to lunch in downtown San Pedro and then she took me to Trader Joe's!!! We don't  have one in the UK as far as I know. Fabulous produce. Tonight we're meeting up with a CC pre cruise meet at a nearby restaurant. 22nd Street Landing.

I agree on Mama Mia! I have seen the NY and Vegas companies and enjoyed cast on RCL far better! You sing and I will dance 💃🏼

Be careful how many videos you post.  They eat up a ton of your allotted attachment storage.  CC said they could expand it, but it might take a few days to get it sorted out.

I didn't know there was a limit....thanks for the heads up.

 

Had a pre cruise get together with some of the roll call at 22nd Street Landing Seafood Restaurant and Grill. Good food and great company. Good to meet up with old friends and new.

 

I left my camera in my room along with my phone! Also one of my hearing aids broke. And the cruise hasn't started yet.

I want to give a shout-out to Super Shuttle. Very organized and excellent service.  Great driver, too.  Only $17 from LAX to the San Pedro Doubletree.

Awake at silly o'clock. 430am. Embarkation day!

I had to be screened at airport security.... I've had a hip replacement following a fall in my 30s and will generally set off scanner alarms at airports and on ships. Means a pat down after every shore excursion too. One time, can't remember which US airport, they took me into a side room and asked to see the scar!!!!

Should have looked out of the window when I woke up. Vision is already in town. I did, however,  watch Emerald Princess transit down towards her berth. Stepped out on the balcony to grab this shot. I now have wet feet. It's been raining.

2 days breakfast at the Doubletree. Gluten Free muffins in Eggs Benedict. Poached eggs on Gluten Free bagels which got a little lost in translation. Yummy regardless.

Am already good to go. Over 3 hours early. Can you tell I'm excited? Hotel shuttle is in heavy demand this morning with 2 ships in port. It's free.

Check in pretty slow. With over 600 D, D+& P members, the “priority line” moved like molasses on a cold day. 

Got to desk and the pre-loaded pics were gone, cc info was wrong and they had to reprint hubby’s card - lost. Card with OBC was incorrect amt. 

On to lunch - off to cabin. All’s well now! 😃

Am forward on deck 4 port side. I'd upgraded very cheaply from an inside to an OV. Will get the beds split. Apparently D+ get cookies regardless of what's in their profile. I don't believe they're GF and have returned them. 4 bottles of water. Can of diet coke as requested.
