We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park  the end of October for the Breakaway repo. The car service that he hotel uses is very good . I would stay there again and use their park and cruise package .

Another vote for Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park!  We stayed there this past February and are staying there again for our Escape Cruise in January.  Very nice hotel, complimentary breakfast, and excellent car service included in the cruise package.

We are staying at the Fairfield Inn and suites in North Bergen, NJ.  They also have a cruise package and shuttle to Manhattan or Bayonne.  They are a fairly new hotel so I have not read much about them on these boards, but they get great reviews on Trip Advisor. They were very helpful on the phone, extending the length of time we could leave a car with them at no extra charge.  I would love to hear from anyone out there who has done the cruise package with them.

We are at Best Western Premier NYC Gateway Hotel, which has extended stay parking ($125 for up to 14 days). Not sure if they have a shuttle, but we are leaving in a week so I will update. We chose it because it's right across from the pier, and they allow five in a room (I have three kiddos). So even if we have to cab it, it shouldn't be astronomically priced.

This was my experience, too, in October for the Gem.

A car service should run around $50, uber a little less. Cabs don’t go back and forth into the city because they can’t pick up fares on the way back.
