Nachi Cocum - Tipping

We have Nachi Cocum booked for our Cozumel thanks to recommendations from cruise critic.  Can't wait.

Silly question about tipping...do you get the same waiter and tip at end of the day?  Or do you tip each time they bring you something?

Also, what is the standard amount to tip?  We've never done all inclusive before so not sure how this works.

Thanks.

You should have the same waiter all day.  If I rent a mat or something extra I will tip when I pay for that.  For the food/drinks covered by the AI fee we usually tip 15-20% at the end of the day - works out to about $10 per person for the typical great service.

When I sit at the swim-up bar and practice my Spanish with the bartenders I usually give them a couple of $ on top of what we give to our waiter.

Tipping is up to you - enjoy!

We typically tip at the end of the day when we visit. We've never had a bad experience there, but the time before last we had a phenomenal waiter so I tipped him far more than the usual 20% or so. I feel like most people do tip at the end of the day. I can't say I've ever been in the pool, but if I had a few drinks from the bar there I would tip with each drink since the bartenders there typically aren't your normal server.

They rent foam mats that are great for floating in the ocean.  Some choose to use them to add extra padding to the loungers.  Cost was about $7-8, but my memory may have been affected by all of the margaritas. :classic_tongue:

Yep....I think you are right on with the price.  Seen a few people use them in ocean or pool.
