South Station in Boston to Cape Liberty

I've been sailing out of Cape Liberty for 10+ years and have traveled there by car, cruise bus( no longer available), and train.  As far as I'm aware you would have to take a bus from South Station to Port Authority Bus Terminal.  There is a local bus from PABT to Bayonne where you would have to call an Uber to get into the port.

 

I cruise in the winter and have been taking Amtrak, staying overnight in Newark, Jersey City, or Manhattan, and taking PATH, light rail, and Uber to the port.

 

I highly recommend going down the day before, particularly in the winter.  For a 3 pm sail time you need to be at the port by 1:30 pm.  More details on various options can be provided.

Where exactly would you be driving from in the Boston area?  What exact date would you be doing this?

 

I've done this drive many times.  It all depends on on where you're coming from and when.
