NCL Beach excursions Jamaica

Hi, has anyone done either the "A Day at the Beach" excursion to Bamboo Blu, or the "Shaw Park Beach Escape" with NCL in Ochos Rios?  A couple of years ago I did the Bamboo Beach excursion and was not impressed.  We were all sat on chairs (not loungers) in rows right next to each other and there was quite a steep shelf to get into the water.  Am I correct in thinking that Bamboo Blu and Bamboo Beach are not the same place?  Would like to consider the other options this time.  I am travelling solo and do not want to go on a private excursion.  Thank you for any advice.

I, too, was not impressed with Bamboo Beach Club. I was curious so looked them up online and it looks like Bamboo Blu and Shaw park have different addresses than Bamboo Beach Club. Both have reviews. I'm glad that perhaps NCL listened to our feedback!

If you are going to Bamboo Beach, book the Bamboo Beach VIP. You get loungers and a private beach area on the "other side of the wall".
