Thanks for the dinner times information. Going to talk with them once in the ship and work it out. Princess customer service was worthless, kept guarenteeing me 7:15, went through 3 supervisors, told them I was looking at your daily Platter.. they finally said, oh they just changed that for your week... I know better than that. I told them I didn’t mind changes, we have cruised for many years now....just don’t lie to me. Thanks again for all your posts.

The food looks great. Can’t believe the head waiter. Our first cruise, too long ago now, my wife never cut her food once. Head waiter on RCL, Nordic Empress, cut every bite for her all week... those days long gone but still expect better service than you are getting. Our family has some food diet requirements as well so I will be sure to keep a look out for things not being right. Never had any problems before on Princess. Princess,  Celebrity, Holland America... always right on before. We do a 12 day Holland America cruise in Feb. just the two of us, would rather have had the time issues there, no big deal then. My little guy is a champ but 2nd will be too late. Thanks again. Ken

We were debating on the production show, but stopped at Crooners and ran in to our new friends who had renewed their vows that day. She was wearing a beautiful wedding gown, and looked spectacular. Kory, the piano entertainer was putting on a particularly good show, so we just stayed at Crooners.

WOW, you’re right, her dress is gorgeous.   They look so happy.   Sounds like you all had a great time in Crooners.

And of course, we were first at Crooners for our welcome aboard Skyfall and Midnightinis. Met Jo, the Crooners bartender, and it’s going to be a great cruise.

You are  so lucky to meet Jo.....she is an awesome bartender and a great friend!!  Unfortunately, she is going on Holiday the day we board the Royal....February 2, 2019.   Please, please give her a hug and hello from Don and Suzie!!

Had a wonderful evening with our tablemates. We closed Crooners, then played blackjack until we closed the casino too. Some blackjack gripes though: the blackjack payout is 6:5 instead of 3:2 and the minimum bet is now $6.

With that odds change it really shifts the advantage to the house. I haven't played onboard, but now won't consider.

Did the small print on their special rules say they can deal from the bottom of the deck too;)

Thanks !   A change since our last crown the Royal.    Sounds like he’s doing a wonderful job!

Did you find St. Maarten to be overly crowded with the behemoth of the seas in with you guys?  It's showing for us that we will be in port with the behemoth, Costa, Azura, and AIDA...yikes!

We haven’t left the ship this cruise. Been to all these ports several times, so enjoying the deserted (especially today) ship.

We are also sailing on the Royal that date.  Really looking forward to it.  I've been trying to upgrade our balcony cabin but no luck since it is completely sold out.
