Volendam will be at Pier 19 (Starboard to) from 0315-1600.  She is leaving on a 16-day Panama Canal Holiday cruise.

The only other cruise ship in port is tiny (she only holds 210 passengers) Pearl Mist at pier 21 from 1330-2100.

That was an early sail in, no wonder I missed it. Capt Albert mentioned in his blog that the NS would also be arriving at 0330.

Hi, all.  I haven’t been following along with the sail always, but as we near Fort Lauderdale, I’m getting back in the swing of things.  Kathi, will the Edge be in FLL with us tomorrow?  I’m longing to get a glimpse of her.

She is.  When I first saw her come on the screen, I thought it was one of the FLL sightseeing boats.

But she does go to Cuba. Wonder how she handles that ride in rough seas since she lays kinda low in the water, especially at the stern

I'll bet it could be a bit interesting.  I sailed the somewhat smaller Grande Caribe Rhode Island to Quebec and things really got interesting off the coast of Nova Scotia.  I wonder about the Pearl's lowest deck which looks like probably the dining room but would bet the primary entryway is there as well, and I hope any hatches seal VERY well.  I would also think the verandas on the deck immediately above could get pretty interesting.
