New Website!

Is the panoramic camera along with the bridge, port, starboard, computer room new on for the Serenity live views or did I miss it?  I knew there was another link to panoramic but adding it to other live views is great.

Jon,

the Panoramic feature/view was added to the live views within the past day.  It wasn't there yesterday afternoon, my time.

It's a great feature and happy that I don't have to look for it on a separate link.

Cool! And it's nice that the ship is currently in Cape Town with fabulous weather and a great view of Table Mountain!

Yes, it is a beautiful day.

The weather was picture perfect today.

Beautiful views from the ship and from land including the HOHO bus which we were on today.

If you want any of the functionality for it eg historic views then you need to go to the seperate link I posted on the thread about this panoramic camera back in February

From what I can see Live Views just takes the standard feed from it

Is that taken from the Panoramic camera?

It can be tweaked on cameras with digital technology.  I do like that feature as I am a horrible photographer.  The ships cameras are totally different and not that good of quality.

That photo was taken with my iPhone.

After gaining a better understanding of “call for availability” and “available” rooms (unlike what I thought, Crystal wasn’t simply teasing a few available rooms while holding back others from the website), my frustration with the website diminished. I started occasionally checking for availability on the cruises I had been interested in booking. Glad I did. Rooms opened up on a river cruise and we grabbed them. Thanks to everyone for setting me straight!

Glad you were able to get all this straight  and that you have booked the  river  cruise.  Great news.

I am finding the new reservation system to be great and better than the original one we used to use before the last web site was implemented a few years back and this capability was no longer available.

Recently I used it as a tool to have some back to back cruises booked.  When I say tool there were some specific rooms we were interested in so I checked the back to back cruises with the reservation system to find specific rooms that were open on all cruises.  I prioritized three of them just in case by the time the booking was made one or more were taken.  Being on the ship I filled out the on board booking form and turned it in at the front desk with the three rooms listed and later that day got back my confirmation with the first choice room still being available.

On another existing reservation for a couple of voyages I wanted to see if we could add one more but first wanted to see if the room we were in was available.  It was so turned in another from and the future sailed consultant booked that for us within hours.

I can't seem to explore each room type, nor find the floor plan of each cabin anymore.  Is it just me or is it really missing?

Thank you, Keith. I looked at the deck plans and they only show 1 photo of the cabin. We were able to click on it previously to see a layout and more pictures per cabin.

I've checked as well the voyages and fees and each cabin just leads you to 1 page with a few photos and not much else.
