It’s pretty crowded on the beach, so we went further down past the area where they have life guards. We pulled some chairs up into the shade. Despite the crowd, food service was quick.
Despegue #4 Posted December 29, 2018 Trivia question, except for the name difference, how can one differenciate Nieuw Statendam from Koningsdam ? 🤓
rafinmd #5 Posted December 29, 2018 Thanks for the picture. Quick question, who got the island based tenders today? Roy

Roy That pic shows one of the two large island tenders (Henry Hudson and Anne Bonny) at each of the sisters. That leaves the 'Stingray' kinda hard to tell if Nieuw S' (ship on the left) ship's tenders have been lowered to the water

They are identical in size, build, and profile and differ in just some minor "stuff" like the aft pool stairs, the five more ocean-view plus three add'l interior staterooms on Nieuw S plus some rearranging of public rooms inside

The ship on the left has a space in between the "two" names on the bow so is Nieuw Statendam. No such "space" on K-dam
EMc&DrS #16 Posted December 29, 2018 Koningsdam on right. Both used the big tenders, but the line was looonnnggg and not very organized. Took us 1 hour from when we left our beach chair to when the tender pulled away from the pier.
