How crowded is it with the two biggest ships?

It’s pretty crowded on the beach, so we went further down past the area where they have life guards. We pulled some chairs up into the shade. Despite the crowd, food service was quick.

Trivia question, except for the name difference, how can one differenciate Nieuw Statendam from Koningsdam ? 🤓

Thanks for the picture.  Quick question, who got the island based tenders today?

I'll take a stab at that one; Nieuw S has five more ocean-view cabins than K-dam

True, but I think that they replace a conference room and windows remain the same 😉

think more in the direction of stairs...

That pic shows one of the two large island tenders (Henry Hudson and Anne Bonny) at each of the sisters. That leaves the 'Stingray' kinda hard to tell if Nieuw S' (ship on the left) ship's tenders have been lowered to the water

Nice picture. Not that I can tell the difference.

They are identical in size, build, and profile and differ in just some minor "stuff" like the aft pool stairs, the five more ocean-view plus three add'l interior staterooms on Nieuw S plus some rearranging of public rooms inside

Nice Picture.  I have been on both but have no idea which is which?

The ship on the left has a space in between the "two" names on the bow so is Nieuw Statendam. No such "space" on K-dam

Koningsdam on right. Both used the big tenders, but the line was looonnnggg and not very organized. Took us 1 hour from when we left our beach chair to when the tender pulled away from the pier.
