Drones permitted??

Recommended Posts

Good evening!

We'll be cruising on the PoA in February and I'd like to bring my drone for some fantastic aerial shots.  I don't plan on flying

it on the ship, but in the parks and various stops we may get to.  Is there a problem with this?  I'd be happy having them keep it

in lockup until we're exiting the ship daily.....

Suggestions??

Lots of local laws in different countries so please check before

also have heard NCL will take drones on embarkation and release them when you get to port and then take them again when boarding

I'm okay with that.....  With cabins that tiny, it's better!

What can't I bring onboard?

Passengers should not bring the following items onboard any Norwegian Cruise Line ship:

  • Drones (Game Flying Device)
Guests are not permitted to bring drones onboard for safety of other guests, as well as the welfare of the vessel

Be very careful here !

Check with the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce/Visitors Bureau and other official sites - - -

with all the airports and military air force navy marine bases in and on Oahu (Honolulu) there are no doubt

sever restrictions on the use of drones.

All the POA port stops are in a close vicinity to Airports a no fly drone zone.

Be careful using a drone in HI, a lot of that area has very restrictive flight areas due to all the military air ops.
