Any info. about martini tasting at alchemy bar?

Recommended Posts

Would like to do the martini tasting thing at Alchemy where you pick 5 drinks to try...Any information on this would be great! Can you do it anytime or do you have just certain times you can? And price? Appreciate any help you can give me.

it is an "event" listed at a certain day/time in the Funtimes.  Usually relatively early in the cruise, IIRC, like embarkation evening or day 2 afternoon.

Maybe check around to see if you can find a Funtimes posted from someone on similar cruise to one you are taking.

It's usually on the first day and I believe it was around $20-$25.

I remember it being $15.

They do it on multiple days, but it is an event and not done every day. It's totally worth it.

I remember it being about $20 and you get to pick 4 mini martinis from a list of 8ish?  Its a good way to sample if you are new to them.

But if you are a drinker and know your choice liquor(s) and flavors (ie, fruity, spicy, dry) just let them work their magic.  Best drinks ever!

Like the previous poster mentioned, it is currently 4 drinks for $20. It is pretty popular from what I have seen first hand, but I have never participated since I always buy Cheers.

For me it has become a first night tradition.

It is not always listed as an event but you can go to Alchemy and just ask the bartender about it.

It's $20. IF you have Cheers you still have to pay the $20 to do it.

I think it's lots of fun!

Love sitting at Alchemy Bar, sipping a good drink. Especially since the Latin Band is usually playing nearby in the evenings.

My only complaint was my Moscow Mule was served in a glass instead of a copper container.
Still tasted delicious, though!

Can you imagine how many of those copper mugs would start disappearing...pretty expensive to keep up with that.
