ranchette Posted January 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2019 Does anyone know what port the Escape docks at in Cozumel? Is it the port downtown (Punta Langosta) or the two southern ports (Puerta Maya & International)?
Paul Bogle Posted January 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2019 NCL ships dock at the Punta Langosta pier in downtown San Miguel. The only exception is if too many ships are calling on Cozumel in which case a ship may dock further south or even tender into San Miguel. Fortunately this is rare. You can check www.cruisetimetables.com to see how many ships will be in Cozumel with you. If less than eight you will dock at Punta Langosta. don't-use-real-name Posted January 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2019 If a map image helps LINK: https://www.google.com/maps/@20.4950398,-86.9634493,7697m/data=!3m1!1e3 In the image to the left of CENTRO is one ship at a pier (Punta Langosta) that is where NCL docks and the Disney cruises. In the lower left part of the image there are two ships at a pier (Puerto Maya) that is where the other guys dock. As poster Paul Bogle has posted check the cruise time tables for ship and pier use. 4 ships of size can be accommodated at the piers then the tendering factor comes into play. Rare mking8288 Posted January 25, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) There were supposed to be 7 ship's in Cozumel during our Escape stop last Wednesday, I thought we counted a total of 5. Perhaps 2 were further north as we didn't see tenders being run. Although, zooming in one of our photos for the distanced port, a 4th ship (smoke stacks) was docked over there as well.
