Roll-in shower Zuiderdam

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of what a roll-in shower is like?  My hubby has hip troubles and would have issues entering a step in tub to shower.

He is not officially  handicapped but does walk with a unusual gait.

Would I be able to book a cabin (looking at VA8032) that has a roll-in shower or are they saved for wheelchair guests?

Not all mobility impaired guests need a wheelchair.  If that is what you need, then book it.  However, HAL does have verandah cabins that have shower only, with the same slight step up into the bathroom as other cabins.  They are the cabins with an asterisk, and are usually found all the way forward and/or aft.  EM

The pics in this link:  http://halfacts.com/4131-eurodam/ are from the Eurodam but should give you the information you need about roll in showers.  You could look at the same website but under Vista Class to try to find pics of similar cabins to VA8032.  Just look at pics from all Vista ships, not just the Zuiderdam.

We got this cabin on a guarantee.  I'm sure if you need the HA cabin, you can get it.  I don't believe you need to prove that one of you requires such a cabin.
