My plan for GC - is this doable?

For our day in GC, we want to do the 8:30 stingray tour with Capt. Marvin, then we have from approximately 11-1 free (all aboard is 2:30 but last tender 2:15).  I thought about possibly walking to MyBar for lunch, then maybe walking as far as Smith Cove.  But it's too far from Smith Cove to walk back to port.  If we were to walk back to MyBar, would it be easy to get a cab there?  Should we just scrap this and take a cab to Royal Palms for the remainder of the day?  Or just walk/cab to MyBar for lunch but don't go any further?  TIA.

I'd just walk to My Bar and chill then when ready to leave ask the bar to call you a taxi

 

been frequenting Sunset and My Bar since the mid 80's (week long dive trips) and just there in Nov <cruise>...... (we walked both ways)

I agree - do the tour, walk down to MyBar then ask them for a taxi back.  Sounds like a good day to me!
