I'll have to handle that with care.  My first overnight on a ship was the Alaska ferry Matanuska.  She has a special place in my heart.  My first regular cruise ship was the Carnival Fantasy.  That one not so much,.

Mine was a ferry on the then-dying Lake Erie. Senior trip out of Detroit to Niagara Falls. I couldn't begin to tell you the name. Almost 60 years ago.

Well done Zuidie.  I was just checking my Zuiderdam itinerary (Que-NY) and hoping she would go up the Saguenay and toot at Bay Eternity.   No such luck,
