Lunch in Amsterdam

We are leaving on a world cruise and will be in Amsterdam in April. Our friends are taking a European river cruise in April, and we've found out they will be in Amsterdam the same day we are there!!  Plans now look like they will be docking at De Ruijterkade  and we will be at the PTA.  We're both taking morning shore excursions, but we would like to meet for lunch around

1 pm somewhere that has local cuisine, near where our ships are docked.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

You will find many restaurants around Centraal Station which is close to both docking areas.

One nice place for lunch in Loetje, it is inside the white wooden building in front of Centraal Station southside/cityside at the water. A mix of various types of food, but also known for their steaks. https://centraal.loetje.nl/?lang=en

On the de Ruyterkade northside of Centraal Station, there more restaurants, like

Julia's for pastas etc.

Wush, nice place for schiitzels

and a few more.

From city center you can get there through the IJpassage without needing a trainticket to get there.

Of course Amsterdam has a lot more restaurants
