She’s been stopped, going 1 knot, stopped again- for hours. Then she sped up, seemed to be going full speed, and now she’s at 1.9 knots again. Middle of the Gulf, on the way to Cozumel.

I’m not onboard. Hence the question mark. Someone posted before that they had an electrical issue that was resolved. And yet... she’s dead in the water again. Check marinetraffic.com

Saw an article about an hour ago, saying ship was underway again, and AC was, fixed.

 

Info re being stopped again is obviously an update to what I read.

www.marinetraffic.com shows 1.9 knots still, 6:19 am EDT, but also shows her almost to Cozumel, where she’s due at 8 am. I’d like to hear from someone on board. All I’ve hesrd is the person yesterday saying there were “electrical problems” for a few hours.

According to the past track on Marinetrafic.com,, on 1-22-19 @ 1717 UTC she was going 1.2 knots, then at 1817 UTC she was going 4 knots at position N25*50' W90*35'. Shortly afterwards she was under full steam for the remainder of the evening. She will probably be a little late to CZM. Unable to find reason, sure it will be posted by someone later.

Any new information about this?  We'll be on this ship in a month so I hope if they are having issues it'll be fixed by then.

Carnival ships frequently have issues like many other lines.

Talked my sister in law and family to go on a cruise after many years.  They chose this ship for a cruise in June.  Updates will be appreciated.
