Shows on Nieuw Amsterdam vs Statendam

We sailed enjoyed the production shows on the Amsterdam in December. Now we are considering the Statendam in Febuary. Would the production shows be the same as the shows we saw on the Amsrerdam?

We sailed on the Nieuw Statendam last week for a 7 night cruise.  They had two production shows that were designed specifically for the World Stage Theater.  They both incorporated some or all of the 270 degree screens that surround the theater.  In addition to the main theater, there were four music venues.  Each one had one (or possibly two) nights off, but something was always running.  Billboard Online and the Rolling Stone Rock Room alternated 45 minute sets each evening.  BB King's and the Lincoln Center Stage alternated sets as well in a shared venue.  Here was the World Stage schedule.  There were 8:00 and 10:00 shows.

• Sunday - StepOne Dance Company's HUMANITY (one performance)
• Monday - Comedian
• Tuesday - StepOne Dance Company's HUMANITY (repeat of Sunday)
• Wednesday - Late night in San Juan, no performance
• Thursday - Singer
• Friday - StepOne Dance Company's STAGES
• Saturday - Comedian and singer

It would be helpful to give the correct names of the ships. There is Nieuw Statendam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and Amsterdam. There are distinct differences between what is available on Amsterdam and Nieuw Amsterdam.

The theater in the round with the big video based shows is very different than traditional production shows.

Perhaps you could search Nieuw Statendam videos, and you can get a short look at the type of video screen based shows that are offered.
