Purchasing Cheers once on board . . .

Can someone tell me how/when you purchase Cheers once on board?  Do you do it when you check in at the terminal before boarding or at Guest Services once on the ship?  My son was going to prepurchase, but now needs to wait until the day we sail due to the way his pay day falls.  Thanks!

You can sign up at bars and there will also (at least on my ships) be tables set up for you to sign up there.

When purchasing onboard you just walk up to a lido bar and when you meet the bar tender tell them you would like to purchase the cheers package and they will have you sign for it then. THen enjoy your tasty beverage.

That stinks. It's going to cost an additional $5/day on board.

EVERYone in the cabin that is age 21 or over will need to purchase it.     If he is in a cabin alone-- he is good to go.   If he is in a room with you--  you all need to get it.

He is rooming with a friend, who is also getting the Cheers package - thanks!

It has to go on your sign and sail.  You can deposit cash for your onboard account when you check in though.   Everything on the ship except extra tips and what you spend in the casino has to be on your sign and sail card.

When he gets paid has nothing to do with Cheers. He can put on S&S and pay after the cruise and save the $5 a day

Oh, it has everything to do with it because he does not have a credit card so we attached our's to his S&S lol.    With the Cheers package and using cash in the casino, he doesn't expect to have many charges, if any at all, on his S&S. 😉
