Hope you have better luck than us.  We get off tomorrow and we have missed or had 3/4 ports cancelled or changed.

Capt Rens says we are due at pilot station at 05:30 am - that probably means about 5:45 on PEV cam. We did make Amber Cove - so we did visit one stop of out original itinerary. See you all Sunday from Rotterdam in Tampa.

Carole, I’m boarding Oosterdam next Saturday. Who are the CD and Hotel Director on her ?

We also go to Amber Cove, did you enjoy it ?

TIA

Hotel Director is Mike Mahn.  Becca Newton [American] is the new Cruise Director. She is being 'initiated' into Oosterdam's staff by these 2 characters [Capt and Hotel Director]. She is taking it well - with a good sense of humor.

I didn't leave the ship at Amber Cove - not much to do and I have been there before. Plus Carnival pulled in a couple hours later with almost 4000 people on board.

AH -- and my DH says that I am the only one who goes around unplugging everything when the power goes out.

Glad to know that someone else also does this.

you are not alone, KK.  It's well recommended by the power companies.

Plus if everything is plugged in, it can cause too many surges and cause a loss of power all over again.

NB Power asks us to unplug certain things so I do it plus I want them working tomorrow, power surge protectors or not 😉
