Eurodam aft-wrap Neptunes

Recommended Posts

We are considering booking an aft-wrap on the Eurodam for a Mexico 7 day cruise.  There are several aft-wraps available (on different decks of course), so I was wondering which deck to select.  We have sailing on the Vista ships deck 5 huge aft-wraps and loved them, but I understand that the Eurodam is different, so any guidance is appreciated.

Hi Dave,

I stayed it 8162.  I'm pretty sure it had the largest aft-facing portion of the wrap around balcony.  That's what I was looking for.  ALSO....those on deck 8 have an overhang all the way to the railing.  ALSO...could take the stairs one deck up to the lido pool and the lido market.  ALSO only one deck down and forward to the Neptune Lounge.  Even though the cabin was under the lido, it was still quiet.  I'd pick still 8162/8173 if I were to book a cruise on the Eurodam today.

We were in the equivalent on the Nieuw Amsterdam, loved it.  But there was some deck noise when they moved chairs and a bit of soot at times.  Nothing major and a couple of times some BBQ  cooking smells in vent.

Yes, they are considerably shallower than on the Vistas (except Noordam) ... but we still enjoyed 5186:

Catl331 - thanks for the picture.  It SURE is smaller than the Vista's on deck 5.  Are the other deck's larger?

They don't appear larger in pics on halfacts.

I know the ones on deck 8 are.  Probably at least 1.5ft to 2ft deeper.  Lounger will fit facing aft.  If you'll like at the pic about and the one on halfacts Nieuw Amsterdam 8162 you can see how much more room there is around the table.  I've been IN 8162 on the Eurodam...it's larger.l
