Travelgal   - thanks so much for posting your blog.  We are doing 10 day Antarctica in December on the Cloud.  We have never been on SS and your report gave me a great idea of what to expect.  I will email you for your packing list.  We are doing 16 days LA-Chile before, so will need to pack as efficiently as possible.

We already took Stumbles there last year. He must miss it! I hope that you get to go there, as it is truly a spectacular destination that never fails to impress. We have been twice now and still, we always take a look at the itineraries to see if there is a new twist that might draw us back for the hat trick.

The best Antarctica cruise I currently know of is with Aurora Expeditions on a brand-new ship, the Sylvia Earle.  What makes this special?  It visits the South Sandwich Islands, a very rare thing.

Just checked and Aurora has great options not only in Antarctica!
