Easter day? Disembark day?

Recommended Posts

My cruise disembarks on Easter day. We are sailing on Allure and wondering if anyone has any ideas if they might do anything special? If so. what?

Also, wondering if we want to carry our own luggage off and leave really early or try to hang out on the ship until the end of disembarkation. We are not flying home that day just transferring to a hotel. Wondering the pros/cons of each.

Hanging around on the ship won't be much fun.  There won't be any venues open until the new cruisers are ready to board, before which you will have to disembark.    I'd get early luggage tags so you don't have to wait very long and get to your hotel where it will be less hectic.

We semi local to all of the Florida ports, so we normally receive high numbered tags, even then we are usually off the ship by 9:30.  I don't ask for low numbered tags as either we are in no hurry to get home or are staying an extra day either in the port city or heading to Orlando for an overnight stay.  I figure leave the low numbered tags for people who need them.

We find a place to sit down and do some reading.  I also like to watch the dockside activities.  The wait is not too bad.
