Carnival Horizon Spa Balcony Cabin

Recommended Posts

We just booked a spa balcony cabin on the Horizon.  I have never stayed at a spa cabin before, can someone tell me what extras we get for booking this cabin?  I don't want to miss anything.  Thank you

In my opinion the best part is you get access to the Thermal Suite.  The downside is Horizon doesn’t have a Thalassotherapy pool like Dream class ships and Splendor.

We've had a spa balcony on the Vista.  I wasn't impressed.  Others on board showed us their regular balcony and it just seemed nicer.   That may be personal perspective.   DW loves the spa,  I'm indifferent.  Wasn't attracted to the offerings on the Vista (or Horizon) vis-a-vis the Breeze or Dream.  And I'm not a fan of the sales push for costly ineffective pseudo-science products like acupuncture and detox cleans.

So nothing extra than the regular balcony?  No access to any part of the spa even though the horizon doesn't have a Thalassotherapy pool, is there any where else we can get into in the spa?  If so what can we use as part of booking a spa room

We stayed in one of the spa rooms on the 14th deck last year, and loved it!  You do have daily access to the Thermal Suite - and even though there isn’t a pool, there is a smaller whirlpool and some nice sauna/steam rooms and heated loungers.  The room towels are different, and you have some nice upgraded toiletries.  Robes are already in the rooms.  I think the best part was how peaceful it was - no kids running in the hallways and very close to Serenity.  You’ll love it!!

We both enjoyed the cloud 9 spa balcony on the Breeze and the Dream, the Thalassotherapy pool was awesome! However it appears the Horizon only has a smaller jetted spa, and its smack in the middle of everything. I'm hopping we enjoy it just as much.
