@RRLLAL awesome!! I'm sure as we get closer to our cruise date, I'll be asking some question. I normally cruise south or to the islands never thought of cruising where I live. So glad to hear someone from the Northeast cruising in the Northeast more the once.

Convenience and cost is why we do Canada once in awhile. We just want to experience the ship this time.

This cruise will be firsts for us. I’m a former New Yorker, Long Island and have never sailed out of Manhattan, to  New England, and on a ship this big. Our largest is the Carnival Conquest class.

In general Carnival does not offer FttF on ships for the first 6-12 months they are in service in the USA or when they do 1 off special sailings. Unfortunately this sailing hits both those marks.

If this is anything like the USA inaugural cruise of the Vista there will be over 1000 Platinum and Diamond passengers plus another 100-200 special invite VIP guests all with priority privileges. In fact on that cruise they had to hold 4 separate Loyalty parties,  and the priority line at Guest Services was often longer than the general line, even when they had 3 pursers handling the priority line.

So confused. I also asked about it and they said they're not up yet but will be.... Hmmmm

I know it's more than a year out from the cruise but I just wanted to get an "info sheet" with links and resources going...

Feel free to copy and paste this in future postings with additional info/links that you may come across. Also feel free to propose a group activity like a pub or cabin crawl you're willing to organize or host.

Pre-cruise/Post-cruise:

TY Maryred!

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Fellow Cruisers:  Happy Independence Day!

Casino Playerrrrrrr.......

Yea, I didn’t make the meet and greet. They gave us a terrible time for it. 430 was it? And we have early dining room high they moved up 30 minutes so we didn’t make it

i was in the casino a lot and I bet we saw or maybe even met each other but just didn’t know it. I was one of the guys on a scooter who was at the casino bar a lot right near the craps table.

Funny how you’re doing this cruise too.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO RLLAL:  We had the early dining time too.  We made the Meet & Greet.  If you were on a motor scooter we probably did pass each other a few times. I play at the craps table a lot.  If you played at the poker table then you probably saw my friend Jim Owens.  Sometimes I went over there to see if he was there and how he was doing.

Let me take a shot in the dark here based upon who were regulars at the craps table and visited the poker table on occasion but didn’t play. Were you the tall guy with glasses who also wore a hat?

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO RRLLAL:  I do wear glasses, not that tall, I wore a palm hat.  As opposed to a straw hat.  You should have come over to say, "howdy."

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Fellow Cruisers:  Being that we are at the 24th of July, we have 14 more months to go until our cruise.  428 days.  Yahoo.  It is not that much longer to go.

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Fellow Cruisers:  Some good news, we have 410 days to go.  Soon we will be at the year mark.  Then time will seem to go by even faster.  Have a trip coming up in a few weeks.  Do we have anyone that likes to play in the Casino, besides RRLAL?  He was on the last cruise I took.
