Balcony Divider Between Adjoining Cabins?

Recommended Posts

We are traveling with friends with adjoining cabins and would like to have the balcony opened between the two cabins during the cruise. Can the balcony dividers be opened between the two cabins? If so, how do we make that happen?

Absolutely.  Alert your steward when he introduces himself to you on the first day.  If he doesn't attend to it fairly quickly, place your request with the Front Desk.  Enjoy your "enlarged" verandah space.

Absolutely. We are just off NA and had three balcony cabins in a row all with the dividers open. Very handy. Just ask your cabin steward.

Which ship? I don't think this is true on the older ships.

They will be on the Zuiderdam.

Do the aft balcony dividers open on the Rotterdam?   I have only been on the other ship class that do open (Westerdam, Oosterdam, etc.,).

If anyone has a picture of the balcony divider opened on the K or NS I'd appreciate it.  Cruising with our kids and if we can't get connecting cabins on the inside, I believe this would be fine.

I don't have a picture from the K, but the dividers looked like the ones in the picture in post 3. The balconies weren't as deep as in that pic, but the part of the divider that opens seems to be pretty standard.

Okay good, thank you.
