S-Class occupants of the forward hump area cabins on 8th level. Smoke issues?

Booked on an S Class ship, port side backwards facing 1A "hump" cabin over the smoking area.

 

From those who've been there, at that height are there ANY issues with smoke?

You should be fine on deck 8, especially in the forward section and when the ship is moving.

Looked at the cabin and was more worried about when the ship isn't under way.  Just seems like a smoky area... and wanted to hear from people who've been in those cabins.

I know, but part of the B2B's a trans Atlantic and the port side gets the fall sun... 

 

Wonder if sneaky smokers book near smoking areas

We’ve been on the backside of the hump directly above the smoking area on 5 and never had an issue.

On the Equinox we were on port side hump, deck 8. I despise cigarette smoke, but I only smelled it a couple of times during the entire cruise. It wasn't enough to bother me, and that's saying something.

All the outdoor smoking areas are port side.

Thank you dkjretired.  After I looked closely at the full title of the topic I figured that might be it (long week at work so clearly not focusing well 😏).   I have sailed port side before and never noticed any issues of smelling smoke but was more midship so maybe that was a factor?

Actually the Mast Bar on S Class pool decks is a smoking place and it is on the starboard side 

 

And the central port side deck five area is also a smoking area so good news Reel Love that you also didn’t notice anything
